JANE FORTH

These days I´m very inspired by model and actress Jane Forth. She was a Factory girl that played leads in several Andy Warhol movies in the 70´s.
Jane was also a well known model at the time. She had a very unique look with shaved eyebrows and oiled hair.
Here are some stunning photos of her by various photographers.

Here are some illustrations of her by my all time favorite illustrator Antonio Lopez.

LUNGA 2010

This summer I taught a fashion illustration workshop in a festival called Lunga.
Lunga is held once a year in a small village called Seyðisfjörður situated in the east coast of Iceland.

LungA is first and foremost a festival with the purpose of summoning people in creation and to strengthen awareness and knowledge about art and culture.(text taken from lunga.is)

My workshop group consisted of lovely and talented girls who wanted to take the illustration of the paper and onto the walls of an old boating shed. They wanted to created an atmosphere of true festival spirit.
At the opening the girls got into character, having fun and posing around town as living breathing illustrations. One of the bands playing at the festival, Hjaltalín stopped by and played some old Icelandic fisherman songs as the crowd took part, singing along and enjoying the scenery.
Here are some images taken by different photographers from this summery event.
