This time around we made up a world inspired by myths from the sea and strong women.

Kronkron Christmas decoration

Today is "Þrettándinn", officially known as the last day of Christmas in Iceland.

So to say farewell to my favorite holiday I´m posting images from a Christmas decoration I did early in december for the Icelandic shop and fashion label Kronkron.

There was glitter, lots of paint and illustrated ornaments along with the beautiful creations of Missoni, Vivienne Westwood, Peter Jensen, Opening ceremony, Marc Jacobs, Mary Katrantzou, Kronron and more.

Happy holidays

Finally my favorite time of year has come along. I love how everything is extensively decorated at Christmas time, for example houses, shops, cars and people :)
The other day me and some friends got together and did a fun shoot inspired by Christmas glitter and holiday parties.

The Field House in Seattle

In Seatte I got to know a wonderful shop called ‪The Field House, a sibling shop to another great shop called ‪Black bird. The stores are located in Ballard and are owned by the inspirational Nicole Miller

In the Field House you can find heritage inspired clothing, books, jewellery, perfume, sewing kits, pocket knifes and many more adventurous objects.

Here is the Hildur Yeoman Swan bag in a window installation in The Field House.

Nordic fashion biennale in Seattle

I took part in the Nordic fashion biennale. It was held in Seattle, in the Nordic heritage museum. The show was curated by the Icelandic artist Hrafnhildur Shoplifter‬.

I was showing an installation and a video that I made together with fashion photographer Saga Sig

Here is a mix of images from my contribution to the show. Both from making of and of the finished pieces.
