Hildur Yeoman´s Xanadu


A few weeks back I had a fashion show at Reykjavík fashion festival
I wanted to create a plastic utopia and got inspired by disco movies, Insects, the Cockettes, Allison Schulnik´s artwork, plastic fabrics, handcrafting techniques and more.

With the help of a super talented group of people like coreographer Sigga Soffía, singer Daníel Ágúst, musician Margeir and a group of fabulous models and rollerskating dancers we managed to make my illustrations come to life at a big danceparty onstage.....and boy did we have fun while at it!!!!
